This is a personal collection of recipes adapted by and for Edy's family to accommodate a history of special dietary needs. Her daughter became a vegetarian as a child out of love for animals, and later became a vegan. Her grandson has a serious nut allergy. Edy herself became a vegetarian after health problems motivated her to research healthy life-style choices. A love for travel has inspired the international flavors included in the book: flavors from Latin America, Asia, and the Mediterranian countries of Europe. Traditional American recipes are here also, adapted for vegans and without nuts. The beautiful color images show these meals are a feast for the eye as well as the palate.
